After making some progress in V Rising, you’ll eventually run into bottlenecks in finding resources. In this post, I will show you the best place to farm both glass and quartz in V Rising.
Quartz resources scattered around the map will be sufficient at the beginning of the game, but in the long run, you will need more quartz to upgrade your character.
Best place to farm Quartz and Glass in V Rising
Dunley Monastery in the western part of Dunley Farmlands is the place to find several quartz veins. However, Dunley Abbey gives the Holy Radiation debuff when you move around and inside. Holy Radiation will consume your health every minute. Holy resistance potions are required to move in and around the building. You will need Scourgestone to craft a Holy Resistance Potion. We have a post covering the best farming locations to find them.
First, destroy all the enemies in the Dunley Monastery area to make your quartz farming less hectic. Get all the valuable materials dropped from the enemies. Make sure to break every breakable item containing valuable materials and open every stone coffin container you see. While clearing the area, you can also find a few hidden chests. Hidden chests can contain glass and other valuable materials.
After clearing the area, go around the church building. There are many quartz veins all over the building. Don’t forget to check the garden area. There are a few more veins near the cliff. You can easily get more than 700 quartz crystals and 10 to 15 glass materials per run. If you clear Dunley Monastery a few times, you’ll have more than enough glass for any upgrade or crafting item you have planned to build.
Dunley Monastery will become more crowded over time. More players will come to this location to gather resources.
