Early in the game, one of the best places for your castle will be somewhere around the Bandit Armory on the map. As a beginner, you will need to build your castle in a central location, such as north of the Vampire Waygate. You can gather early game resources without fighting bosses. You will be able to quickly get whetstone, iron ore, and other early game materials. When you get to the middle of the game, Dunley Abbey, Mosswick Village, and the Iron Mine will be nearby. When you get to the late game, your castle will not be far from Silverlight Hills. You will be able to bring the resources back to your castle without any hassle.
Our second location is next to Dawnbreak village. This is a great location to farm early and mid-game resources. You have a cotton farm nearby. There is a militia camp nearby.
