Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. Recently, some of the early footage of Destiny 1 running on PC was shared on YouTube. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
The footage doesn’t look very impressive right now. It looks very shaky and somewhat choppy, with a lot of glare and stuttering. Still, despite all the visual glitches, there seems to be a lot of progress. If they can make it work properly, a lot of people would love to be able to play D1. Because many people think Destiny 1 is much better than Destiny 2.
Destiny 1 had great armor designs, cool weapons, and amazing activities like the Sparrow Racing League. Destiny 2 came with some improvements, but some aspects of the game were no better than the original. Many players miss D1 and think it was more fun.
It seems unlikely that Bungie will bring the game to PC.
You can follow the progress on Lucas’ YouTube Channel. Lucas is a Destiny fan who has been trying to get the game running on PC for almost a year.
For those unfamiliar with the game, Destiny is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and released in 2014.
