How to Catch Fish in Dinkum
In order to fish in Dinkum, you need to get a fishing license from Fletch. Once you have the license you can go to John’s Goods and buy a fishing rod. Then you will need to find a water source for fishing. You can find plenty of fish in the rivers and lakes. Once you get to the water, you can cast your line by clicking the left mouse button. You can hold down the left mouse button to charge your cast. The longer you hold the left click, the further the hook will go.
You will have to wait until the fish bite your bait. Once you hear the water splash sound, you can start a mini fishing game by clicking the left mouse button. At first, fish will start swimming away. If you reel in, you’ll notice a red bar similar to a stamina bar on the right side of the screen. At this point, do not reel it in. You will need to wait until the fish stop swimming. Once the fish has calmed down, you can reel the fish in with the rod by holding the left mouse button. If you notice that the fish is swimming again, click the left mouse button and stop reeling in. You will need to repeat this process until you catch the fish.
If you see a crab or lobster at the bottom of the water, you can jump into the river and get it. If the river is too deep, you will need to press the E key to dive into the water. You will need to right-click to get the creature.
