This pokemon is said to be based on the Shisa, a magical creature that looks like a cross between a lion and a dog.
Where to find Arcanine in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
If you want to catch this Pokemon, you will need to go to the city of Cortondo (West). Once you get to the city, you will need to go north until you see a river. You’ll have to jump over that river to reach the spawn area. If you can’t jump across the river, there is a path to the east that you can use to get around the river.
