These Pokemon are said to be ghosts of ancient species that once lived in the dinosaur age. They tend to live around the areas they inhabited in ancient seas and continue their prehistoric behavior. They are not strong in battle, but if someone trains them, they can become powerful warriors.

Where to find Dreepy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Dreepy is exclusive to Pokemon Violet. If you’re playing Pokemon Scarlet, you have no chance of finding it.
The easiest way to find it is to go to the East Province (Area 3). Then you need to head to Tagtree Thicket to explore the area. You will need to roam around Tagtree Thicket as much as possible and you will want to keep your eyes peeled because it is so small.
It can be difficult to find, as it is a relatively rare Pokemon.
