Mimikyu’s true appearance is unknown as it hides under an old rag. It’s said that Mimikyu hides under an old Pikachu costume to avoid sunlight. Because sunlight weakens this pokemon. It is believed that those who see Mimikyu’s true form die in pain.
Mimikyu Spawn Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
If you want to find a Mimikyu, you will need to go to the Eastern Province (Area 2). Then you have to cross the river and go to the old ruins, which are marked on the map below. Mimikyu is a relatively rare pokemon. So, you may need to spend some time around the ruins until you find one.
If you don’t see any, you can reset the spawns by leaving the area and coming back. Eventually, you should be able to catch one around the spawn location. It may take about 5 – 10 minutes to appear.
It was much more difficult to catch a Mimikyu in previous pokemon games.
Mimikyu can’t evolve into another Pokemon, but it can change its form when attacked by an enemy.
