In this guide, we’ll show you how to catch Skrelp in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Skrelp is a Water/Poison-type Pokemon that evolves into Dragalge when leveled up. It lives in water and resembles a brown seahorse with its brown skin. It has black-rimmed eyes and a purple face. Three leaf-like fins allow it to swim in the water.
Although it’s an aquatic Pokémon, it can’t swim well. It has little resistance to waves and currents. It often hides from its enemies by camouflaging itself as seaweed. Seaweed is not only a camouflage material but also its main food. If it senses danger, it can spray poison from a distance.
Where to find Skrelp in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Skrelp is one of the aquatic Pokémon exclusive to Scarlet. Please note that you can’t find it in Pokemon Violet.
The first thing you need to do is head to the lighthouse in Porto Marinada. Next, you will need to jump into the ocean and head north. This Pokemon doesn’t spawn at night, so wait until sunrise.
You will need to use your surfing ability to catch it. Since there is no specific spawn location, you will need to swim around until you find it.
