You can defeat Jade the Vampire Hunter to be able to convert Greater Blood Essence into Primal Blood Essence. However, you can also use Exquisite Hearts to make Primal Blood Essence. Farming from high-level enemies is a good way to get Exquisite Hearts in V Rising.
How to Get Exquisite Hearts
Gloomgrave Village and Brighthaven Square are the best places to get exquisite hearts in the game. You will need to kill strong enemies. Priests, paladins, and light weavers have a chance to drop it. Normal enemies don’t drop that often. Villagers don’t give exquisite hearts. You will need to kill enemies that are level 70 and above to get it.
Another way to get exquisite hearts is by killing high-level V Blood bosses. There’s a boss at Brighthaven Cathedral. He can also drop it.
