In this guide, we will show you how to hatch eggs in Ark Survival Evolved. This will be a simple guide on how to hatch eggs and get baby dinosaurs. Some of the creatures in the game give birth directly, and some of them make eggs. You can enable mating by going to the creature’s behavior settings. You will need to select the Enable Mating option. Make sure the creatures don’t move away from each other because they will stop breeding.
Female dinosaurs can drop normal eggs and fertilized eggs. You need to find a fertilized egg. Because normal eggs can’t hatch into baby dinosaurs.
Ark Survival Evolved: How to Hatch Eggs
Once you get your fertilized egg, you will need to use something like a torch to start incubating it. You should place the torches in a semicircle. You can use spark powder to ignite them. Next, you will need to put the egg between the torches. Light the torches one by one until the egg starts incubating.
The temperature changes from day to night, so you’ll want to check to see if the egg is still incubating. If the temperature is too cold, you can put more torches.
Alternatively, you can use air conditioners. But first, you will need to unlock the generator to generate electricity. Most of the time, one air conditioner will be enough to heat an egg. Depending on the rarity of the baby dinosaur to hatch, you may need more than one air conditioner. Four air conditioners will be enough to hatch any egg in the Ark. If you are in the early game, you can also use a campfire.
You can build a hatchery later in the game. The hatchery is simply an isolated building with air conditioners inside.
The incubation period of the eggs varies between 50 minutes and 6 hours, depending on the dinosaur.
