Koraidon and Miraidon are two legendary Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. They are version-exclusive Pokemon that you can’t catch both in the game. Koraidon is exclusive to Scarlet, so you can’t find it in Pokemon Violet. You need to have Pokemon Violet to catch Miraidon, as it doesn’t appear in Scarlet.
Although they behave the same, their appearance is quite different from each other. Miraidon is an Electric/Dragon Pokemon with a futuristic look. Koraidon, on the other hand, resembles an ancient Pokemon with its large reptilian head.
Where to find Koraidon and Miraidon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
You need to finish the story and see the credits to find them. Once you finish the game, you’ll need to go to the Zero Gate and teleport yourself to Research Station No 4. So you will be able to reach the bottom of The Great Crater of Paldea.
After exiting the research station, you need to jump down to the bottom of the crater. Once you get to the bottom, you should be able to find Koraidon or Miraidon standing on the ledge.
How to Unlock Abilities
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the first open-world Pokemon game that allows trainers to freely explore the world. To explore Paldea and access different parts of the map, you will need more mechanics than walking and jumping. You can give your legendary more abilities than just using it as transportation. You can make it jump higher and glide through the air like a parachute.
As you progress through the game, you will meet Arven at some point. He will give you some quests that require you to defeat the Titans. You will need to defeat those titans to unlock all abilities.
Stony Cliff Titan is the easiest to defeat and gives you the ability to dash. Quaking Earth Titan is one of the hardest ones and gives you the ability to glide. Lurking Steel Titan will give you the ability to jump higher. Open Sky Titan and False Dragon Titan will give you the ability to swim and climb.
