How to Get Leather in V Rising
Bandit Trapper Camp is the only place in V Rising where you can get leather from mobs. It is considered one of the best farming regions in the game. There are so many breakable containers and treasure chests in this area. You will have a chance to find leather in these treasure boxes. You can smash things up, do some exploring and loot valuable materials.
Inside the Bandit Trapper Camp, there is an archer-type boss named Keely the Frost Archer. You’ll want to be at least level 20 before you get there. Keely the Frost Archer isn’t a tough boss to beat, but there are plenty of powerful bandit patrols on the roads. You will also see a vampire hunter patrolling there. Ignore the vampire hunter, just focus on killing the boss. She shoots ice arrows and performs stealth attacks. Destroy her and press F to extract the blood to unlock the tannery. You can’t build a tannery if you don’t extract the blood. You’ll be safe when extracting the blood. Other players can’t deal any damage during this time.
To make a tannery, go to your production menu, then refinement, and then select the tannery. You will need to collect Plank and Animal Hide to make this building. Once your tannery is ready, you have to kill animals to produce leather. It can be any animal you come across during the game.
Throw the animal hides into your tannery and wait some time to make the leather. After the animal hides are placed in the tannery, they will turn into leather.
